Sun Parlour Emergency Services Inc., Chatham-Kent Division began providing Land Ambulance Service to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent on December 4, 2000. A geographic area of 2,500 square kilometers and a population of 110,000 is served by approximately 100 full and part time primary care paramedics. Stations are located throughout the Municipality in Chatham, Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Thamesville, Ridgetown and Blenheim providing 24 hour coverage.

The service operates a fleet a 13 ambulances and 1 ERU (Early Response Unit) and 1 administrative unit and completing approximately 16,751 responses in 2009 with an average response time to emergency calls of 6 minutes, 58 seconds. The Provincial Standard 1996 90th Percentile Response Time of 14 minutes, 34 seconds is met with the 2009 90th percentile being 12 minutes 37 seconds.
